What is the SCU Routing number?

Southeastern's Routing/ABA number is 261271500

A routing number, also referred to as an ABA and transit number, is a 9-digit number used in the United States, which appears on the bottom of negotiable instruments (such as checks), identifying the financial institution on which it is drawn. 

Why can't I log into my online banking account?

You may have been locked out of your account due to the following reasons: 

  • You have not enrolled in Online Banking.
  • You have entered an incorrect password.
  • You have exceeded the number of password tries.

You may have forgotten your Username or Password.  You can recover either one by selecting "Forgot Username/Password?" from the login in screen.  If you know your Username you can fill in your Username and email address listed on your account and then select next.  If you do not know your Username, simply select try another way at the bottom and fill in your Social Security and account number.  You will then be given the option to reset password via email or text.

How can I have funds transferred from another financial institution to my account at Southeastern Credit Union?

There are several options that you can choose from:

  • You can have funds transferred via Home Banking through our Interbank transfers. Please contact the credit union for assistance at 229-244-2732 or 1-800-228-9839.
  • You can contact the originating financial institution to set up an ACH or credit transfer.
  • You can mail a check or money order to be deposited into your account.
  • If you are Military, you can set up an allotment through the Military Finance office.
  • You may also have the sender transfer funds electronically to your account at Southeastern via Wire Transfer. You will need to provide the Originating Financial Institution with Southeastern's Wiring Instructions listed below.

Will my credit be checked to open a checking account?

No, we do not currently check your credit report before establishing a checking account. We encourage you to come in and speak to a Member Service Officer if you're interested in opening a Southeastern checking account. 

How can I make my loan payment?

There are several ways in which your loan payment can be made:

Pay by direct payment
With Direct Payment, your loan payments (except credit cards) will automatically be deducted from your account at another financial institution.

Use online banking
Transfer funds within your account directly to your loan using the "Quick Transfer" method or the "Recurring" method.

Use Pay my loan
Make your loan payment online via a debit card or ACH (electronic check).  Select “Pay My Loan” on the top right of the website.  Then select which loan you’d would like to pay and follow the prompts. 

Use our coupon book

Pay by phone using the ATS (Automated Telephone Service)
You can make a payment over the telephone with our voice response telephone service. 

Pay by phone with an Account Service Representative
You can call the credit union to have a Account Service Representative transfer funds within your account directly to your loan at 229-244-2732 or 1-800-228-9839. 

I am currently not a member and would like to open a checking account. What do I need to do?

You must be a member of the credit union to utilize any of the products or services offered. To become a "member" you will need to open a share savings account.

You can go to any of our branch locations to open the account.

What information do I need to provide someone to have a wire transfer credited to my account?

How do I order checks?

You can place your order through online banking, at any one of our branch locations, or order checks directly through Deluxe via phone or internet. To place an order directly through Deluxe, please visit them online. Go to Deluxe.com

How can I obtain my account number?

  • Mobile App: You can find your account number via mobile app by selecting a share.  Your account and routing number will be listed at the bottom of the page.
  • Online Banking: Account numbers are listed in Online Banking via desktop or mobile device.  After logging in select a share.  Your account and routing number will be listed on the right side of the page while logged in on desktop and the top of the page via mobile device.
  • Call Center: You may call the Credit Union to obtain your account number at (229) 244-2732 or (800) 228-9839. 

How can I access my account?

Southeastern offers a variety of services for your convenience to access your account and they are: 

  • Online Banking: You can conduct Credit Union transactions from anywhere you have access to the Internet. Please call the credit union to enroll in this service.
  • Automated Telephone Service (ATS): You can access your account anywhere you have a touch tone telephone. Please call the credit union to enroll in this service.
  • ATM Services: Southeastern has ATM locations to make accessing your account easy and convenient.
  • Call Center: If you would like to conduct a transaction or need to ask a question, our representatives are just a phone call away.

How do I check my balance by phone and what functions are available?

Southeastern now offers Mobile Banking for iPhone and Android smartphones to access your account information. 

With a touch tone phone, your account number, and personal identification number (PIN), you can access your account using the Automated Telephone Service (ATS). Please notify the Call Center to set-up this service during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Using the ATS, you can access your account to: 

  • Transfer funds between your accounts
  • Access your line of credit
  • Make loan payments (within SCU accounts)
  • Verify if checks have cleared
  • And much, much more! 

What information do I need to conduct an outgoing wire transfer?

You must contact the financial institution that you want to transfer money to and get their specific wiring instructions. The instructions vary from institution to institution. 

Please bring those instructions to a one of our convenient SCU branches to complete the wire. 

Do you offer bill pay?

Our bill pay service makes paying bills easier than ever! No more need to buy envelopes or stamps. All you have to do is set up the account information for each bill you want to pay through bill payer. Once this is entered, you control how and when your monthly expenses are paid. You can designate bills to be paid individually or on a recurring basis. This service will quickly become your friend. You get unlimited use with no monthly fees (you must have a checking account with SCU to use bill pay). 

To set up bill pay, you must be enrolled in online banking. Once logged into online banking, click on the "Bill Pay" tab. You may set up bill pay payees from this window. For further assistance, please call our call center at 229-244-2732 or 800-228-9839.

What is the telephone number to activate my Visa debit card?

The activation number will arrive in the envelope with your card. 

To activate your card, please dial 1-800-290-7893.  When calling internationally, please dail
206-624-7998 and follow the prompts.

What services can be accessed using Southeastern Mobile Banking?

Mobile banking allows you to: 

  • Check account balances
  • View transaction history
  • Transfer funds between accounts
